Update Biblical Elul 15, August 29/30, 2023, the 887th day of the great tribulation: A common question with little more than one year to the rapture of the church Sept. 12, 2024 –
Q – Dan 9:27 NET indicates that the Antichrist would confirm “a covenant with many” for the duration of the tribulation. Why aren’t we seeing this?
A – First of all, note some parallels between Christ and the Antichrist: a) As was Christ, the Antichrist would be raised from the dead (Rev 17:8 NASB), b) as does Christ, the Antichrist would claim to be God (2 Thess 2:1-4 NASB), and c) as will Christ in the millennial kingdom, the Antichrist would reign on earth with authority over all nations (Rev 13:1-7 NASB). Note especially, moreover, that both Christ and the Antichrist confirm covenants. The Antichrist is confirming ” a covenant with many”, while Christ is confirming the new covenant of grace (bit.ly/3iOuCol (no.1); John 3:16 NASB). Furthermore, recall that, for some time, it was not generally known that Jesus was the Christ and that he was confirming a covenant, though Christ will soon rule, in person, over all nations. In parallel is the fact that, although it is not yet generally known, the Antichrist is here, he is confirming a covenant, and we will soon see him with authority over every nation. Watch closely. There are less than 13 months to the end of the tribulation on Sept. 6, 2024 and yet, from the Bible, the tribulation’s greatest events are yet to occur. They are clearly at the door.
1 Christ’s millennial kingdom will begin at the sunset ending Tishri 21, Sept 22/23, 2024. bit.ly/3iOuCol (nos. 1, 2, & 6)
